SARS case confirmedBy P. S. Suryanarayana SINGAPORE Sept. 9. In the first case of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) in recent months worldwide, a 27-year-old Chinese-Singaporean was today diagnosed to have been infected with the virus after a repeat test was found positive. The World Health Organisation, which was duly notified, said that the current case ``does not fulfil the case definition for SARS as per the new WHO guideline in the post-outbreak period'', the Ministry noted.
